What foods are rich in good carbs?

Carbohydrates are our main source of fuel and eating the good ones will not only make you healthier but give you more energy throughout the day. Good carbs, also known as complex, are found in whole wheats, oats, vegetables and some cereals. Many of your favorite snacks now come from ingredients that contain whole wheats - make sure you read the label. Bad sources of carbohydrates also known as simple carbs come from junk food including soda, candy, chocolate and anything that is high in sugar. Try to avoid simple sugars as they are digested quickly, giving you a sugar high and eventually a crash. For more foods that are filled with healthy, complex carbs, visit the Guide to Carbohydrates.
